Senior Modified English Style One-Day Competition

The current Laws of Cricket , NZC Playing Conditions and HBCA BY-Laws shall apply except where amended hereunder

Hours of Play
12.30pm – 3.15pm
3.45pm – 6.30pm
The toss must be in the presence of both Captains. The winner of the toss must communicate his/her decision immediately.

Long Question: 
Sir, I need you ask you a question regareding cricketing law 42.15. Sir first off all please let me know that when was last this law modified and with what purpose ? And 2nd. As the law was modified few year back bowler can not attempt to run out non striker soon as he reaches to his delivery stride. is there any chance for bowler to attempt run out non striker keeping ball in hand only and take the bells off ? or he has to throw the ball from away only to do so ? T.B.Lowe By the close of my playing days, I had developed an interest in umpiring - an interest which lasted for many years. On joining the HB Cricket Umpires Association I came under the control of some extremely good practical and knowledgeable umpires in the persons of Les Storkey, Reg Collins and Cyril Halliday. Our fortnightly meetings were based on the study of, and the ability to answer any question relating to, the Laws of the game “on the spot”. Our members were regularly observed by these three, and corrections to our on the field performances were received.

Long Question:
